Why support from Mamas Maternal HealthWorks

Updated: Oct 3, 2019

It is well known that a variety of factors influence a women during pregnancy and lactation. This includes family support, society, self-efficacy, etc. However, one of the biggest influencing factors is the support a woman receives from her healthcare providers. WHY? They are ready to offer individualized, evidence-based support to help a woman meet her pregnancy goals.

Studies have found that support lasting for longer periods of time are the most effective in helping women achieve their goals during pregnancy and lactation. Specifically---during the intrapartum and postnatal periods--- both crucial and impressionable times for a new mom. While these women are going through new experiences, they need specific and vital support designed for their unique needs.

This support needs to be interactive and involve mothers in all conversations ---including one-on-one individualized counseling sessions catered to a woman's needs during pregnancy. At Mamas Maternal Health, we have created programs that provide optimum support for women during pregnancy and lactation!

While we do offer single sessions, we also have a variety of packages that can fit a variety of needs and lifestyles. To best meet your needs, each package has split sessions between nutrition and lactation counseling dispersed throughout pregnancy and the first 6 months of lactation. All sessions are via video chat so that you are able to meet with your dietitians and lactation counselors at the convenience of your home. We also offer a 24-hour messaging system so any questions or concerns outside of sessions can be addressed as they come up.

We also include features such as goal setting, 24-hour diet recall, macro and micronutrient analysis, breastfeeding education, breastfeeding support, and overall guidance during this journey.

To learn more about how we can be your ultimate support system, check out our website and reach out to set up an introductory session.

Until next time!
